I've lined up another 'Face to Face'... No.28, the Rugby Supporting Wine Loving Golfer! I did think he was a little boring to start with, but his emails have got quite funny, so why not.
Now, this is a little confusing, but we're meeting on Saturday (after the Rugby, so he'll be spared my power drinking Guinness shenanigans), so 'technically' that makes him No.27, and the Journalist on Sunday should now be No.28! Confused?
Anyway, it should be 'interesting' because I've no idea what he looks life. Sure, there's a description on his profile, but a lot of guys have a tendency to exaggerate (believe me... I have met one of them), and as there's no photo this is effectively a blind date.
So a busy few days coming up, and three outfits to pick out (note to self... there is absolutely NO NEED to buy new clothes. None of them have seen one single item from my wardrobe!).
Today I got a wink of a guy who's profile is really funny. He loves sarcasm, and when I asked him what Revel he'd be he said chocolate... the best!
The Dentist is still sending daily text updates from his hols, and has asked if we can meet when he gets back (so possibly No.29, but as he's still away for over a week I'm not going to give him a number *just* yet!). One of his texts was ever so slightly ironic (bearing in mind my last paragraph)... he said it was refreshing to meet someone who's not wowed by 'chocolate boys'?!?

and 28!

26 and 27!
That's right. Two new 'Face to Face's this week! I know I was getting bored of actually meeting new guys, but these two sound interesting.
First No.26, The Outdoorsy Guy. I turned down a date with him last week in favour of real people, but he's asked if I fancy a drink later this week... He's quite cute, so why not!
No.27 is the Journalist Guy. I haven't heard from him for a week or so, but he wants to know if I fancy meeting up at the weekend?
The Dentist has gone away for a couple of weeks, but called me yesterday (I was just waiting for my Old Friend to turn up!) I had a quick chat to him for 10 minutes! Being in another country hasn't stopped his 'texty' ways... I got three off him yesterday, and another this morning!
And (now this is fab), remember Dubliner 2 of 3 (he came over last summer for a weekend date? Well, I got a cool email off him, and he's thinking of coming back next month. Strangely I mentioned him last night to my Old Friend... I distinctly remember telling him so far he'd been my favourite (Dubliner 2 of 3 that is!)
All these guys are going to have their work cut out in the future though. I'm getting so bored of meeting people who turn out to be needy, insecure desperados I'm still tempted to run away with my Old Friend. I'll find out which Revel he'd be first ;)

Revel-ation (II)
Sorry, I didn't give you the Revel analysis in my last post. Here you go:
- Toffee - can be a little tough, generally awkward
- Coffee - massively massively unpopular and best avoided
- Maltesers - like to think they're the biggest, but there's a lot of empty space in there
- Orange - inoffensive, and generally popular
- Chocolate - very smooth, with no surprises lurking underneath
- Raisin - clearly up with the times (they're a new variety)
- Nut* - slightly small, and hard to get hold off
- Coconut* - the one you always forget about, but when think of them... delicious!
*both now obsolete, so retro!
Revel-ation
First a Potential update:
The Dentist. He seems like a sweet guy, but is so texty (OK, that may not be a real word). I'm *slightly* concerned that he may not be giving his patients his full attention, but he assures me he only texts between treatments. I don't have the time (or inclination, or money) to reply to all of them.
The Outdoorsy Guy. He's emailed to arrange a drink next week (I turned him down last night in favour of a night with real people). I quite like this guy, mainly because he doesn't seem too full on.
Now, the other one (Rugby Supporting Wine Loving Golfer), is kind of dwindling a bit. His emails are OK, but a little boring (although bizarrely asked me if I have a current passport?!?)
Anyway, rather than deciding who's worth pursuing based on their profiles/emails/ women's intuition I tried out a new method in the office today, and it worked a treat. To get an insight into someones persona, just ask them what Revel they would be!
a real wink ;)
It had to happen sooner or later!
Last night I was out with a friend of wine for a couple of glasses* of wine at one of my regular haunts. I have been there in the past with Music Man, but generally it's a Potential free zone kind of place.
Anyway, last night I recognised of one the barmen there... from the dating site!! It was actually quite funny, because I think he recognised me, and he certainly remembered me being there with Music Man!
It's like being in some kind of secret society... I got a "knowing smile" and a cheeky wink off him.
*for glasses, read bottles. I've had enough of detoxing!
